The company&#8217;s ability to offer service in the city had been called into question last September when London&#8217;s transportation regulator <a href=\"https:\/\/arstechnica.com\/tech-policy\/2017\/09\/london-regulator-announces-uber-ban\/\">denied Uber&#8217;s application<\/a> for a five-year renewal of its license.<\/p>\n<p>Uber appealed that ruling, and on Tuesday the\u00a0Westminister Magistrates&#8217; Court ruled in favor of renewing the company&#8217;s license for a 15-month probationary period.
