One other consequence of this decision, though, is that<br \/>\nChristoph Hellwig has quietly <a href=\"https:\/\/git.kernel.org\/linus\/f7d5db965f3e\">stepped down<\/a> from the<br \/>\nmaintenance of the DMA-mapping code.  Marek Szyprowski will be the<br \/>\nmaintainer of that layer going forward.
