The two sides have decided to continue their partnership, as Bloober is making a new title based on Konami&#8217;s intellectual property. Since the studio develops horror games, it&#8217;s likely that this will be a fresh entry in the Silent Hill series. There is a possibility that it could be a Castlevania game instead. But I&#8217;m hoping the companies decide to get really weird and make a spooky Bomberman or something.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The trust built upon the success of <em>Silent Hill 2 <\/em>laid the foundation for signing another agreement for a new project,&#8221; <a data-i13n=\"elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:2;pos:1\" class=\"no-affiliate-link\" href=\"https:\/\/blooberteam.prowly.com\/383560-bloober-team-and-konami-continue-their-collaboration\" data-original-link=\"https:\/\/blooberteam.prowly.com\/383560-bloober-team-and-konami-continue-their-collaboration\"><ins>the companies said<\/ins><\/a>. &#8220;The deal aligns with Bloober Team\u2019s strategic plan to expand its internal development division within a first-party framework.&#8221; Konami will publish the upcoming game and retain the rights to it.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"end-legacy-contents\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <em>Silent Hill 2 <\/em>remake arrived in early October and sold well, moving <a data-i13n=\"elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:3;pos:1\" class=\"no-affiliate-link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SilentHill\/status\/1884662921189318957\" data-original-link=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SilentHill\/status\/1884662921189318957\">over 2 million copies<\/a> by the end of January It was critically acclaimed and received <a data-i13n=\"cpos:4;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/gaming\/astro-bot-and-final-fantasy-7-rebirth-lead-the-2024-game-awards-nominees-175942582.html\"><ins>several nominations<\/ins><\/a> at The Game Awards. The remake was also one of Engadget&#8217;s <a data-i13n=\"cpos:5;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/gaming\/engadgets-games-of-the-year-2024-133005519.html\"><ins>favorite games of 2024<\/ins><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If, indeed, Bloober is making a completely new Silent Hill game, it won&#8217;t be the only such title that&#8217;s in the works.
