It provides aggregated breakdowns of<br \/>\nmemory accesses by data type that can inform structure layout and access<br \/>\npattern changes.  Existing tools have either, like <a href=\"https:\/\/invent.kde.org\/sdk\/heaptrack\">heaptrack<\/a>, focused on<br \/>\nprofiling allocations, or, like <tt>perf mem<\/tt>, on accounting memory<br \/>\naccesses only at the address level.
