And if you’re a WhatsApp user, you can finally try it for yourself.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the new feature, anyone in a group chat can pin a message so it sticks to the top of the chat. That means it’s up to anyone in the chat to decide which message warrants the honor. As it\u2019s a slow rollout, it might take a couple of days for the feature to show up, so keep checking in if you don’t see it yet. \u00a0<\/p>\n
You can pin any message, even a poll, to the top of a chat. <\/p>\n
Tap and hold on the message you want to pin to select it. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Tap Menu<\/strong> on the top to see your options. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n Choose Pin<\/strong>, then choose how long you want the message to stay pinned to the top. Currently, you can choose between 24 hours<\/strong>, 7 days <\/strong>(the default), or 30 days<\/strong>. When the time is up, the message will be unpinned.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n Tap and hold on the message you want to pin to select it. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n Tap More<\/strong> from the context menu.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Choose Pin<\/strong>, and decide how long you want it to stay at the top\u2014 24 hours<\/strong>, 7 days <\/strong>(the default), or 30 days<\/strong>.
