It will not be a short<br \/>\nprocess and does not have a guaranteed successful outcome.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"bq\"><p>\n\tPhase I: Experimental phase, which can start immediately, in which<br \/>\n\tthe free-threaded build is enabled through a build-time<br \/>\n\toption. This should not be the default install anywhere. At least<br \/>\n\tone major Python release should include this experimental<br \/>\n\tfree-threaded build, to allow third-party packages to test and do<br \/>\n\ttheir own experimentation.
