The Amazon-produced TV adaption of the popular, long-running video game series Fallout will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 12, 2024, the company announced on Monday.<\/p>\n

Amazon also announced that the series will be part of the same canon as the video games. The announcement was made through social media posts<\/a> that showed an interface resembling the iconic Vault Boy accessory from the games.<\/p>\n

The series was announced in July 2020, alongside news that Westworld<\/em> writers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy would be executive producers. In January 2022, it was revealed<\/a> that Nolan would direct the first episode but that two other writers\u2014Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel<\/em>, Tomb Raider<\/em>) and Graham Wagner (Portlandia<\/em>, The Office<\/em>, Silicon Valley<\/em>) would be the showrunners.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
