That may<br \/>\npartly be because one of the organizers of EOSS (and ELC), Tim Bird,<br \/>\ndescribed himself as &#8220;a bit of a space junkie&#8221;; he made that observation<br \/>\nduring a panel session that he led on embedded Linux in space.
