{"id":1148063,"date":"2023-06-08T06:48:37","date_gmt":"2023-06-08T10:48:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.prime-wow.com\/?p=1148063"},"modified":"2023-06-08T06:48:37","modified_gmt":"2023-06-08T10:48:37","slug":"celebrating-5801-young-peoples-digital-creations-at-coolest-projects-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.prime-wow.com\/?p=1148063","title":{"rendered":"Celebrating 5801 young people\u2019s digital creations at Coolest Projects 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An absolutely huge congratulations to each and every single young creator who participated in Coolest Projects 2023, our digital technology showcase for young people! 5801 young people from 37 countries took part. <a href=\"https:\/\/online.coolestprojects.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">This year\u2019s participants made projects<\/a> that entertained, inspired, and wowed us \u2014 creators showcased everything from robotic arms to platformer games.<\/p>\n<p>We celebrated every project and maker in a special livestream event this Tuesday:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\" \/>\n<p>Each year, we invite VIP judges to pick their favourite projects. This year they had the difficult job of choosing between <a href=\"https:\/\/online.coolestprojects.org\/events\/cp-2023\/gallery\">4111 incredible projects<\/a> young people showcased. Meet the judges and find out which projects were their favourites.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Yewande Akinola\u2019s favourite projects<\/h2>\n<p>Yewande is a chartered engineer, innovator, and speaker. She is the co-founder of Young Tinker Academy and Young Tinker Foundation, started in 2015 to educate the less-privileged students of rural India. They designed Smart Farm to help farmers in their community regulate the temperature of animals, feed them on time, and check them for diseases. The team also built a fish pond model that tests the pH of the water and a vegetable garden model that detects when vegetables are wilting, all with the aim of helping local farmers to care for their livestock and protect their livelihoods.
