The<br \/>\nRust project leadership has now put out <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.rust-lang.org\/2023\/05\/29\/RustConf.html\">a blog post<\/a><br \/>\napologizing for and explaining its role in the event, describing its<br \/>\n&#8220;<q>decision-making and communication processes<\/q>&#8221; as the primary cause<br \/>\nof the failure.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"bq\"><p>\n\tOrganizationally, within leadership chat we will enforce a strict<br \/>\n\tconsensus rule for all decision making, so that there is no longer<br \/>\n\tambiguity of whether something is an individual opinion or a group<br \/>\n\tdecision. We are going to launch the new governance council as soon<br \/>\n\tas possible.
