All projects in our open online showcase receive personalised feedback from judges, and all creators get some awesome limited-edition swag too. To bring all the participants together, we\u2019ll host a live-streamed celebration event online on 6 June 2023, where we\u2019ll also reveal the favourite projects of our very special VIP judges.<\/p>\n<h2>How does Coolest Projects Global work?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Coolest Projects Global is completely free, it\u2019s all online, and it\u2019s open to all digital creators up to age 18 from anywhere in the world. Creators can take part independently or in teams of up to five.<\/li>\n<li>Tech creators of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Coolest Projects is for young people who are beginners, advanced, or anything in between.<\/li>\n<li>We love to see works in progress, so projects don\u2019t need to be completed to be registered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-1 wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" data-id=\"82389\" src=\"https:\/\/www.prime-wow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/CoolestProjects_03072020-196-500x333-1.jpg\" alt=\"Four young people and the tech project they have created.\" class=\"wp-image-82389\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" data-id=\"82390\" src=\"https:\/\/www.prime-wow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/CoolestProjects_03072020-201-500x333-1.jpg\" alt=\"Two young people at a tech showcase event.\" class=\"wp-image-82390\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\" \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Projects can be registered in six categories: Scratch, games, web, mobile apps, hardware, and advanced programming.<\/li>\n<li>Creators can choose topics including community, environment, health, fun, art, education, and identity.<\/li>\n<li>Judges evaluate projects based on their coolness, complexity, design, usability, and presentation, and give personalised feedback about each project.<\/li>\n<li>Project registration opens on 6 February and stays open until 26 April.<\/li>\n<li>The livestream event on 6 June will celebrate all the creators\u2019 projects and reveal the judges\u2019 favourites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Creators who took part in 2022 told us that the coolest thing about Coolest Projects Global is that \u201cso many people around the world get to see and appreciate your projects\u201d and that \u201canyone can have a go\u201d.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.prime-wow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/CPUK19_PHOTO4110-500x460-1.jpg\" alt=\"Four young people working together on a tech project.\" class=\"wp-image-82385\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<h2>What makes a coolest project?<\/h2>\n<p>Coolest Projects creators make digital tech projects that matter to them and that they want to share with the world. Creators have all different levels of skill \u2014 some register their very first coding project, and others have taken part in Coolest Projects for years. We welcome every project from every young person in Coolest Projects.
